DMD Webcast FAQ

What is a Webcast?

A webcast is a PowerPoint presentation with streaming audio featuring one or more speakers. Webcasts may also include interactive Question and Answer sessions and audience polls. Some people also call webcasts “webinars.” If you do, we’re okay with that; we know what you mean.

How long are webcasts?

Depending on the number of speakers, anywhere from 35-55 minutes, including 5-10 minutes for Q+A.

Where do I login for the webcast?

After you register for the webcast at our website, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with instructions on how to access the webcast. We’ll also remind you a few days before the event. Plan on arriving a few minutes before the event starts so you can test your computer.

What if I can’t stay for the whole webcast – or just can’t make it?

We’ll miss you, but you can always view the webcast on-demand when it’s convenient for you. Go ahead and register so we can let you know when the on-demand version is ready.

How can I sponsor a webcast?
