Generally, here at Search Marketing Now, we run our presentations at 1 PM East-Coast time, following best practices that allow us to capture audiences in all US times zones. For our friends in the UK, Europe and the rest of the world, it’s not always as convenient.
(We’ve had viewers from Japan and AustraliAsia who have indeed stayed up late or gotten up early — watching a webcast at 2 am goes above and beyond the call of duty.)
So this coming Tuesday, we’re going to run our webcast at a time that we hope is more convenient for our views in the UK and the rest of Europe: 4 PM *British Summer Time* — which is 11 AM for us and 8 AM for our sponsor, Marin Software, which is based in San Francisco. (Note: original post incorrectly used GMT.)
The topic is also tailored to our UK and European friends: Managing PPC Campaigns in the UK & Europe: Tips for Success with Andy Atkins-Kruger as our main speaker. Andy is based in the UK and has vast international experience in advertising; he’s also chair of the International Search Summit, which holds its next conference in Seattle, October 6.
So, if you haven’t registered yet, please do so. Your registration is an indication that yes, there’s a demand out there for webcasts at times more convenient for our international viewers.
We look forward to “seeing you” on the webcast –Tuesday at 4 PM BST.
