During today’s Search Marketing Now webcast, an audience poll revealed that more than 47% of search and online marketers are currently running ads on Facebook. An equal number said they weren’t running ads but plan on starting. Of those running ads, 2.7% are struggling, while 18.2% are running a full campaign. Only 6.1% saw no value in advertising on Facebook.
Among those who are advertising on Facebook, three-quarters are managing their ad campaigns manually, 15% outsource to an agency, 7% use and in-house tool and 3% rely on a custom-build solution.
